Tony the administration and Stephanie director of nursing are the worst! If you have a loved one please listen to the reviews before sending there. My dad has been living at Blumenthal Nursing & Rehabilitation for three months. The place is beautiful and everything is topbnotch.
The staff is wonderful, but the two nurses who didn't pay attention to him were not. The food is fabulous, and they give out ice cream. It kind of has the appearance of a little resort with beautiful side rooms for visits and several lobbies. The travel LPN is to provide direct nursing care to the residents and supervise the day-to-day nursing activities performed by nursing assistants. They have 134 beds and a daily average of 111.9 residents .

They seem so good at first just to get them there but there’s no communication at all, when you call the front desk they transfer you to no man’s land. Grandparent has been there for 1.5 years and still waiting on someone to return my messages. They are the most unprofessional staff I’ve ever seen in a nursing facility. If you ask for paperwork, a nurse to call you it never happens!!! They hate for you to call 911 if you feel as if your loved one needs to be rushed to the hospital because they said that makes them look bad. Well who cares how they look, we care about our family members and want them to have the care that’s needed, not just check in every few hours due to short staff.

Some CNA''S truly did a decent job while the others didn''t give a hoot! I''m contacting all agencies concerning this disgraceful place. It brings tears to my eyes when I think about all the helpless patients who do not have anyone to advocate for them. I pray to my God that the treatment my family member received never happens to your family.
This facility is definitely one of the best in the area. The physical therapy department is incredible and our family member showed significant progress during their stay here. The new Administrator has made many positive changes to both the staff and the level of care, and I truly believe my father is in good hands. The nurses are knowledgeable, attentive, and the express the level of care you want your loved ones to be provided with. It is worth mentioning that Medicare pays for what they deem as 'medically necessary' skilled nursing care.
